Types of Dentures We Offer

Complete Dentures

Also called full dentures, they replace an entire arch of missing teeth, either the upper arch, the lower arch, or both. They rest on the gum tissue and are held in place by natural suction, the contours of the gum and bone, and optionally, denture adhesive.
Complete dentures are an excellent solution for patients who have lost all or most of their teeth in one or both arches and are looking for a functional, natural-looking restoration.
Conventional Full Dentures are fabricated and placed after the remaining teeth have been extracted and the gum tissue has fully healed — typically eight to twelve weeks after extraction.

Partial Dentures

A partial denture is used when one or more natural teeth remain in the arch. It fills the gaps left by missing teeth and is held in place by clasps or precision attachments that anchor to the remaining natural teeth. In addition to restoring appearance and function, a partial denture prevents the remaining teeth from shifting into the empty spaces.

Partial dentures can be made from a combination of acrylic and metal framework, or from flexible, metal-free materials for a more comfortable and discreet fit. We'll discuss the best option for your specific situation during your consultation.

The Denture Process at Evergreen Dental

    Initial Consultation & Evaluation

We begin with a comprehensive exam including digital X-rays and CBCT 3D imaging where appropriate to assess the health of your remaining teeth, gums, and jawbone. We'll discuss your goals, preferences, and the full range of tooth replacement options available to you.

    Extractions if Needed

If any remaining teeth need to be removed before denture placement, we perform all extractions in-house — including surgical extractions and wisdom teeth. You'll never need to visit a separate oral surgeon.

    Impressions & Measurements

Precise digital impressions and measurements of your mouth are taken to ensure your custom denture fits accurately and comfortably. We record your bite relationship and facial dimensions to ensure the denture restores proper function and a natural appearance.

    Try-In Appointment

Before your final denture is completed, we schedule a try-in appointment where you'll be able to see and feel the denture in your mouth, assess the fit and appearance, and provide feedback. This is your opportunity to ensure everything looks and feels right before the final appliance is fabricated.

    Final Fitting

Your completed custom denture is delivered, fitted, and adjusted for optimal comfort and function. We'll make any necessary refinements to ensure a precise, stable fit and a natural bite.

    Follow-Up & Ongoing Care

Dentures require a period of adjustment, and follow-up visits are an important part of the process. We'll schedule check-ins to monitor your comfort, assess how the denture is fitting as your gums settle, and make any needed adjustments. We're always here to answer questions and address any concerns during your adjustment period.
