Before your appointment

At the start of your appointment
A small, comfortable mask is placed over your nose. You breathe normally through your nose while the nitrous oxide and oxygen mixture is gently administered. Within two to five minutes, most patients begin to feel a pleasant sense of relaxation and warmth. Some patients notice a slight tingling in the hands and feet — this is completely normal.
During your appointment
