How Digital Dentistry Benefits You

More Accurate Diagnoses

CBCT 3D imaging, digital X-rays, and intraoral cameras give us a level of diagnostic detail that was simply not available with traditional tools. We catch problems earlier, assess them more thoroughly, and plan treatment more precisely — leading to better outcomes across every procedure.
More Accurate Diagnoses

Greater Safety

Our digital X-ray system uses up to 80% less radiation than conventional film X-rays. CBCT imaging allows us to identify and avoid critical anatomical structures — including nerves and sinuses — during surgical procedures. Digital planning reduces the margin for error in complex treatments.
Greater Safety

More Comfortable Experience

Digital intraoral scanning eliminates the discomfort of putty impressions. Same-day crowns eliminate the need for temporary restorations. Faster, more precise procedures mean less time in the chair and a more comfortable experience overall.
More Comfortable Experience

Faster Result

Same-day crowns. In-office implant planning. Instant X-ray results. Digital workflows that eliminate the delays associated with off-site laboratory fabrication. Digital dentistry means less waiting and more doing — for you and for us.

Better Communication

Seeing your own teeth on screen — in high resolution, in three dimensions — transforms the way we communicate about your oral health. You understand more, ask better questions, and make more informed decisions about your care.

    Our Digital Technology

Cone Beam CT (CBCT) 3D Imaging

Our Cone Beam CT scanner is arguably the most powerful diagnostic tool in our practice. Unlike conventional dental X-rays, which produce flat two-dimensional images, CBCT imaging captures a complete three-dimensional view of your teeth, jawbone, nerve pathways, sinuses, and surrounding structures in a single, low-radiation scan. The detail and accuracy this provides is extraordinary — and it transforms the quality and safety of a wide range of procedures.

The level of detail provided by CBCT imaging allows our team to plan every complex procedure with extraordinary precision — reducing risk, improving outcomes, and giving patients a level of confidence in their treatment that was previously unavailable.

    Digital X-Rays

Our digital X-ray system produces instant, high-resolution images of your teeth and supporting bone — with up to 80% less radiation than conventional film X-rays. Images are available on screen within seconds, allowing us to review them with you in real time and make immediate, informed clinical decisions. Digital X-rays are more environmentally friendly — no chemical processing required — and produce superior image quality that can be enhanced, magnified, and compared over time with ease.

    Intraoral Digital Scanning

Gone are the days of uncomfortable, gag-inducing putty impressions. Our handheld intraoral scanner captures a precise, full-color three-dimensional digital model of your teeth and bite in just a few minutes — completely comfortably and non-invasively. The resulting digital model is extraordinarily accurate and is used for a wide range of applications, including crown fabrication, Invisalign treatment planning, nightguard and retainer design, and implant restoration planning.

Digital scans are more accurate than physical impressions, eliminate the discomfort of traditional impression materials, and can be instantly shared with dental laboratories and Invisalign for seamless coordination of your care.

    Same-Day Crown Technology (CAD/CAM)

Our in-office CAD/CAM system is one of the most tangible expressions of digital dentistry's impact on the patient experience. Using the digital scan of your prepared tooth, our computer-aided design software creates a precise virtual model of your custom crown — which is then milled from a solid block of premium dental ceramic by our in-office milling machine in just 15–20 minutes. The result is a beautifully crafted, precisely fitted permanent crown — delivered the same day as your appointment, with no temporary crown and no return visit required.

    Digital Treatment Planning

Every complex treatment at Evergreen Dental — from implant placement to Invisalign to full-mouth rehabilitation — is planned digitally before any procedure begins. Digital treatment planning allows us to visualize the intended outcome in three dimensions, anticipate challenges, optimize every decision, and share a clear picture of the planned treatment with you before we start. This transparency and precision leads to better outcomes, fewer surprises, and a more confident treatment experience for every patient.

    Intraoral Cameras

Our small, pen-sized intraoral cameras allow us to capture high-resolution images and video of every surface of your teeth and gums — including areas that are difficult to visualize with the naked eye. These images are displayed on a chairside screen so you can see exactly what we see — making it easier to understand our findings, our recommendations, and the reasoning behind proposed treatment. Intraoral cameras are also invaluable for documenting the condition of your teeth over time.

    Digital Smile Design

For patients considering cosmetic treatment — including veneers, bonding, or a comprehensive smile makeover — digital smile design allows us to create a visual preview of your potential results before any treatment begins. Using photographs and digital imaging software, we design your new smile and show you exactly how it will look — refining the design until you love what you see, then using that vision as the blueprint for your actual treatment.
